Game Music

Pick-a-Pocket

These are gameplay soundtracks I composed for the multiplayer game "Pick-a-Pocket" set in a fictional Victorian era. The objective is to pickpocket other online players without getting caught and the player who has the most loot wins the match. Click here for the Steam Link.

Space Exploration

This is a demo from a recent game jam where I composed the music for an arcade space game. The player must navigate through the asteroid field while finding sources of energy for their spaceship.

Dark Fantasy RPG

This is a collection of game music themes from a dark fantasy RPG concept. My goal was to use the acoustic guitar to portray a suspenseful environment as the player roams around a deserted village. I did this by experimenting with alternative tunings, harmonic picking, and odd-time phrases.

Jazz

Jazz is my roots. After going on different musical tangents, I always return to the familiar sound of jazz. The bass is the backbone, the harmony adds vibrancy, the synchronized rhythm creates a sense of togetherness, and the improvised melody adds spontaneity. These elements are their own language within themselves, but together it builds the ultimate experience as a player and listener. Here is a compilation of jazz compositions that highlight these elements.

Progressive Metal

Metal is almost as broad as jazz but HEAVIER. Metal focuses more on rhythmical and tonal techniques which are often used to control the overall dynamics. Progressive metal takes this a step further with longer structures, complex time signatures, and instrumentation.

Ambient

Ambient on the other hand is totally different from metal. Rhythm no longer is the focus, instead, ambient music is a medium of texture and dimension. Textures are generally created from drones, field recordings, syntheses, or prepared instruments. Dimension is created through spectral and spatial manipulation techniques such as morphing and smearing and of course, a lot of reverb.
